Background:
Kwarg is a half orc with the usual contradictions. The impressive outer hulk of raw orc genes and physical might, and the inner jovial and easy going nature and a burning fire trying to reach the surface. His inner sense of right and wrong in stark contrast to the loose and confusing rot that is Riddleport. Because of his body is the only weapon left then lies and intrigue tries to take over, the display of brute force and fear is usually the only way to handle a situation.
In Riddleport you can trust no one. You must always be alert, always on garde, always be vigilant against despair, and always try to not release the beast inside.
In battle his inner turns to ice and his outer to stone. There is no passion. What has to be done must be done. There is no mercy and there is no method's not allowed. Finish the opponents off as fast and painless as possible. Be the reaper of death.
As a child he were always in trouble. Igniting into blind fury as soon anyone hinted about his orcish heritage. Beating and bullying every one that deserved it, and keeping an eye on every one else trying to keep order in his part of the gutters. One day he saw a paladin of Iomedae. Her demeanor, her presence, and the way she held herself touched something deep inside. He felt peace for the first time in his life. His sight were clear, he now had purpose, a future, and something to strive towards. He did everything in his power to become a paladin himself. He failed. The heat inside were impossible to handle.
In his youth he went trough a ritual to try to quench the develish orc inside it was partially successful. Intricate tattoos is now covering him and helping him to control his body and mind. The demon is still there, still trying to brake free, still driving him crazy, but still chained, for now.
Darkness and despair took hold of him and he slowly started to turn into something rotten like the city. Fortunately he ganged up with the right people that he started to trust and the light grew brighter. He believes Iomedae herself intervened and saved his soul this way and he is forever grateful. There is hope for the future but there is still that damed deamon inside of him.
Sometimes the fire must be let lose.
Half Orc Racial Abilities
- Intimidating: +2 racial bonus on Intimidate checks due to their fearsome nature.
Orc Ferocity: Once per day, when a half-orc is brought below 0 hit points but not killed, he can fight on for 1 more round as if disabled. At the end of his next turn, unless brought to above 0 hit points, he immediately falls unconscious and begins dying.- Sacred Tattoo: Many half-orcs decorate themselves with tattoos, piercings, and ritual scarification, which they consider sacred markings. Half-orcs with this racial trait gain a +1 luck bonus on all saving throws. This racial trait replaces orc ferocity.
- Weapon Familiarity: Half-orcs are proficient with greataxes and falchions and treat any weapon with the word “orc” in its name as a martial weapon.
- Darkvision: 60 feet
- Orc Blood: Half-orcs count as both humans and orcs for any effect related to race.

- Indomitable Faith: You were born in a region where your faith was not popular, yet you never abandoned it. Your constant struggle to maintain your own faith has bolstered your drive; you gain a +1 trait bonus on Will saves as a result.
