These are portraits of Skull fleeing the drow city Ched Nasad in the Underdark and Skull disguised as the dwarf Borok Steelhammer

Bruthal Firebrewer was born in the underdark city Gracklstugh, the city of blades. The Firebrewer clan was in charge of alchemy, especially poisons and alchemical fire. As duergar start working at a rather young age(he was merely 20 years old), although young duergar are not expected to work as hard or as competent as the adults. While stationed in a small camp, harvesting the enormous fungal growth known as Araumycos(which is as big as the high forest, and is one giant creature). Drow slavers from Ched Nasad captured all the duergar from the camp and was put to work in Ched Nasad.

Nicknamed Skull by the drow, as a slave he wasnt expected to live long. They discovered he had knowledge in alchemy, so he recieved better treatment than most of the other slaves. Torturing him and coercing him to divulge his clan´s secrets, he still has a deep-running hatred of drow, and he can barely manage to contain his killing urge when he sees one. Being strong and resilient he recieved training as a fighter/rogue as the drow had a plan to turn him into a turncloak asassin.

That was when the House Zauvirr, a wealthy but low-ranking drow clan tried to tried to seize the city. Using hundreds of duergar mercenaries they had huge succes at first although the duergar made extensive use of an alchemical inciendary known as stonefire, the duergars stonefire bombs managed to ignite the calcified webbing that held most of the city up. 90% of the city fell burning down into the great chasm below. During the confusion and chaos Skull managed to flee with a few other duergar. Skull was the only one who survived to the surface. The drow treatment of him has made him doubt the great duergar race, and he doesn´t wish to return to Gracklstugh.

He has now lived “upstairs” for 5 years and he still loathes the sun, although he has learned to disguise his distress. He hires himself out as a killer, and is mostly ruled by greed. Strict and unyielding, he always keeps his word when given. Loath to break laws except when it suits him, “might makes right”.

Skull a.k.a Borok Steelhammer, a young duergar trying to survive in the alleys and streets in Loudwater. (Seek power over others, to repay evil with further evil, to exploit kindness for personal gain, and to show no compassion for the weak and downtrodden.)
